I love working with Erika. She has a fearless way of dealing with issues when they inevitably arise. Her ability to focus on “what did we learn?” as opposed to “what did we do wrong?” creates an environment committed to growth and innovation. Her fun, lighthearted approach to life keeps everything in perspective.
Working with Erika has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career thus far. As a female in the business world, it can be difficult to find a strong female leader who is willing to share their mistakes and and triumphs with you. Everything that Erika does is with the intent of making the company and its’ employees better. Erika understands that mistakes happen but I believe she sees that the real value comes from learning from your mistakes and using and sharing that knowledge with others.
I can only hope to take everything I’ve learned from Erika as a boss and eventually be half the woman and half the boss that she is.
Erika is an inspiration to young women who aspire to great things. She demonstrates every day that hard work and perseverance pay off. On top of all of this, she basically lives by the principle of “don’t be an asshole,” proving that working hard and being nice to people can go hand in hand.
